LIGHT LAKE lost one length. BELTHER lost eight lengths and thereafter jumped outwards and was very slow into stride. PALACE ROSE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Naidoo was questioned with regard to the improved performance of PALACE ROSE compared to this filly's previous performance at Scottsville Racecourse on the 18 November 2018. He explained that in his opinion, the good to soft underfoot track condition that prevailed on the day did not suit this filly and in addition this filly raced to the front from a wide draw and compounded in the closing stages. The Stipendiary Board noted his explanation and the future performances of PALACE ROSE will be monitored. In view of the Starter's report with regard to BELTHER this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 30.11.2018 to 06.12.2018. BELTHER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. AMEX and ISLA MORADA raced green. WHISPERING HILL was hanging in and shifted to the inside of CORAZON entering the straight resulting in GENEREIGHT being switched outwards abruptly brushing AMEX. LOVE BUTTON raced green on the bend. SOUTHERN DYNASTY raced with a tongue tie. BELTHER, SOUTHERN DYNASTY raced and PALACE ROSE raced with ear muffs. The ownership of LIGHT LAKE should read: - Mr T Padayachee and the colours are black and gold checked diamonds, black sleeves, checked diamond cap.
