MAGIC MAGESH lost one length. SHARPE'S EAGLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer Forster was questioned with regard to the improved performance of SHARPE'S EAGLE compared to this gelding's previous two performances. Mr Forster explained that SHARPE'S EAGLE has a history of unsoundness and that this may have accounted for these disappointing performances. The Board noted his explanation and the future performances of SHARPE'S EAGLE will be monitored. GLOBAL PURSUIT raced to the front, as a result compounded and was not persevered with over the final 300 metres. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. STEALTH ADMIRAL was hanging in over the final 300 metres. CANADIAN BOLT was hanging in over the final 200 metres. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning GLOBAL PURSUIT, this gelding is suspended from racing for a period of 60 days. GETAWAYCAR compounded and was eased out passing the 250 metre mark. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. THEGREATESTSHOWMAN raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: GLOBAL PURSUIT - bi-lateral epistaxis. GETAWAY CAR - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: POLLARD - injured in transit.
