The start of this Race was delayed due to GOOD RHYTHM casting the left fore shoe en route to the start. The farrier was unable to refit this shoe and as a result, the right fore shoe was removed. GOOD RHYTHM was thereafter examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was withdrawn. ROCKY COAST lost one length. TIERRA DEL FUEGO was slow into stride. SOLID GOLD refused to load and was withdrawn. SALTORO RIDGE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SOLID GOLD this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading into the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates: 30.11.2018 to 06.12.2018. SOLID GOLD may not be presented for re-passing during this period. LORD OF GLENCOE shifted in slightly away from BRAVO BRAVO at approximately the 1400 metre mark. This resulted in SALTORO RIDGE being cramped for galloping and ECCELLERATE having to be steadied along the inside running rail. TIERRA DEL FUEGO raced wide throughout. In view of the performances of ECCELLERATE and SIGISMUND, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. SIGISMUND and SOLID GOLD raced with ear muffs. Vet: ECCELLERATE and SIGISMUND - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: GOOD RHYTHM - not striding out left fore. SOLID GOLD - refused to load.
