The start of this race was rescheduled at the request of the operator. GIMME A WAVE jumped awkwardly resulting in Jockey Danielson becoming unbalanced and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with BOLD EAGLE in running. Jockey Simons reported that FIRDOAS (AUS) hit her head on the front of the starting stall gate. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. AGAINST THE GRAIN shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. CORDILLERA and VIKING TRAIL were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. VIKING TRAIL raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: BOLD EAGLE - not striding out left front and fatigued. FIRDOAS (AUS) - head injury.
