THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROCKPAPERSCISSORS (M Yeni) was unruly and slow losing four lengths. The Starting Stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. b) ELECTRA FLYING (C Storey) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) A race review was called into the start with regard to ROCKPAPERSCISSORS in stall gate 7. It was established that this gelding was very unruly as the start was effected. The Stipendiary Board was satisfied that the gates opened on terms and the Handler allocated to ROCKPAPERSCISSORS had released him timeously, and that this gelding's behaviour was the sole reason for him losing ground at the start. Therefore he was declared to be a runner. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ROCKPAPERSCISSORS, this gelding has been suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping on terms with a companion. Suspension dates: 25 November 2020 to 1 December 2020. ROCKPAPERSCISSORS may not be presented for repassing during this period. Trainer J A Soma advised (PHvdW). c) Jockey P Strydom reported that FORT ALADO did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Jockey D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with THE BOOGEYMAN in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) WILD HERITAGE (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G Terzi advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) FOREST PHOENIX was ridden by Jockey C Habib (declared 20 November 2020 at 09H42). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) THE BOOGEYMAN raced equipped with blinkers (declared 20 November 2020 at 11H29). THE BOOGEYMAN Jockey D Schwarz weighed out at 54,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. b) HAGRID raced without a tongue tie (declared 23 November 2020 at 11H30). c) RIZZOLI raced with club colours (blue and black) Stewards permission. d) CAPTAIN CUPID Jockey S Khumalo weighed out at 53,2kg, 1kg over the carded weight of which 0,5kg was declared. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) FORT ALADO examined post race, nothing obvious detected. b) THE BOOGEYMAN abnormal respiratory noise and choked up. c) FOREST PHOENIX cut into right hind. SCRATCHED: a) WYLIE THE GREAT cast in box (Trainer) (Rule 53.5 applies). DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: None.
