There was a delay to the start of Race 8 as a result of the harrows being unable to complete the track until the horse ambulance had left the course proper. Rain fell prior to and during the running of the 8th Race. ZARNITSA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. After being slow into stride VAL-LA-REE was cramped and steadied shortly after the start. Jockey Lerena the rider of VAL-LA-REE reported this filly changing legs continuously in running. Vet: VAL-LA-REE - not striding out left fore and coughing. Scratched: GOLD IMAGE - coughing.
