Trainer DM Kannemeyer was advised that should this gelding behaving in a similar manner in future engagements, he may be suspended. b) The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. c) LEGITIMISE (*X Jacobs) raced wide on the bend. d) Leaving the 200m BEL PUNTO (A Domeyer) was carried out marginally by LEGITIMISE (*X Jacobs) which shifted out away from the crop. e) In view of the report from the starter regarding BEL PUNTO (A Domeyer), this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 26/11/2020 to 02/12/2020 inclusive). BEL PUNTO may not be presented for re-passing during this period. f) In view of the report from the Starter regarding JUAN CARLOS (C Zackey), Trainer AN Marcus will be advised to have this colt re schooled before his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. g) Jockey R Fourie, the rider of DIVERGENT, reported that this colt took no interest in the running. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine. h) Jockey O Noach was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck CITADEL more than 12 times in the entire race. Jockey Noach signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000,00. In determining penalty, the Board took into account Jockey Noach's recent record with regards to contraventions of this Rule and the number of strikes over the permissible level. i) Jockey C Zackey was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck JUAN CARLOS more than 12 times in the entire race. Jockey Zackey signed an admission of guilt and was fined R1000,00. In determining penalty, the Board took into account Jockey Zackey's recent record with regards to contraventions of this Rule and the number of strikes over the permissible level. j) Trainer ELP Steyn was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to have the registered colours of the owner of the horse CITADEL. Trainer Steyn signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a warning. k) LEGITIMATE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DM Kannemeyer was advised.
