SHAMROCK WIND cast the right fore shoe on the way to the start, which the farrier replaced causing a delay. SHAMROCK WIND reared in the stalls, was injured, and subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. TEMPLE GRAFIN and CORAL BAY were slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter regarding SHAMROCK WIND, Trainer Crawford was advised that the filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn. Approaching the 400m GOLDEN CHANCE, GHAALLA, SANTA CLARA and CORAL BAY were carried out by CLOUDS UNFOLD which switched out to obtain a clear run. Jockey Domeyer, rider of CLOUDS UNFOLD failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to a number of runners when he switched out to obtain a clear run at the 400m. Jockey Domeyer was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. (w.e.f. 20/12/2018 to 26/12/2018 inclusive). In view of the performance from TEMPLE GRAFIN, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure. FRONT AND CENTRE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TEMPLE GRAFIN - returned not striding out on the left fore. Scratched: SHAMROCK WIND - injured head in starting stalls, was withdrawn.
