THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PERFACT (J Greyling) stumbled leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Leaving the 400m, PERFACT (J Greyling) which was hanging in and CIRCLE OF LATITUDE (M Yeni) which shifted out away from the crop came together and brushed. b) SET THE STANDARD (C Zackey) hung in from the 200m. c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that he felt something amiss with DYNASTIC LIGHT in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with CIRCLE OF LATITUDE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. e) SET THE STANDARD (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Houdalakis advised (GF). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) PERFACT: Jockey J Greyling weighed out at 54,9kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. b) AFRAAD: Apprentice D Schwarz weighed out at 53,9kg, 1,5kg over the carded weight of which 1kg was declared.
