LA PRINCESS was restless in the stalls. Lost 1 length. Trainer Gadsby advised to re-school this filly. RIPPLING MUSIC lost 4 lengths. Trainer Howells advised to re-school this filly. CHATTY CATHY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LEANNA over-raced in the early stages. LA PRINCESS and BLUSHING BELL made contact leaving the starting stalls. UNILATERAL was hanging out on the bend. GREEN CAVIAR was hanging out in the final straight. Apprentice Ngwane the rider of BLUSHING BELL had his crop accidentally struck from his hand by Apprentice Moodley, rider of TEETOTAL, near the 150 metre mark. In view of the performance of LEANNA the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Apprentice Ngwane whilst riding BLUSHING BELL, used his crop with excessive frequency when out of contention for a place in the final straight. BLUSHING BELL raced fitted with ear-muffs. LA PRINCESS raced without cheek-pieces. Vet: LEANNA - blowing. Scratched: BRONNIE - change of venue.
