The start of this race was delayed due to the 30-minute interval. ALTRUISTIC was stubborn loading. MARMALADE SKY, ON A PROMISE and CLEVER CLOGGS were nervous in the stalls. GIMMEASECRET and BRAGGIE'S SUNSHINE were slow into stride. TORVILL was stubborn loading and nervous in the stalls. TORVILL was hanging in from the 300m. Jockey Bogaleboile reported that MISS KARATE was not striding out freely in the running. ANGEL JOLEE was hanging out from the 500m. In view of the performance of BRAGGIE'S SUNSHINE the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. In view of the performance of GIMMEASECRET the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Approaching the 400m, ON A PROMISE, shifted in and was steadied off the heels of ANGEL JOLEE as a consequence of this KEEPING SECRET was steadied for a stride to the inside of ON A PROMISE and was switched out to continue its run. Approaching the 200m, CHAT SHOW shifted in away from the crop and carried ALTRUISTIC inwards for several strides. Jockey Minnie was brought before the Board and advised to make more of an effort to keep his mount on a straight course in future. DANCING IN SEATTLE was carried in slightly by COUNTLESS AWARDS which was hanging in over the final 200m. Trainer McKenzie failed to vaccinate the horse KEEPING SECRET against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccinations as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. COUNTLESS AWARDS and DANCING IN SEATTLE were selected for taking of specimens for analysis. TORVILL raced equipped with ear muffs. ALTRUISTIC raced equipped with cheek pieces. Vet: ALTRUISTIC - cast left fore shoe. MISS KARATE and BRAGGIE'S SUNSHINE - not striding out both fore. CHAT SHOW - post-race distress syndrome. GIMMEASECRET - nothing obvious detected.
