WHITEHAVEN lost one length. LINEKER (AUS) lost two lengths. Q THE MUSIC was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. EXCLUSIVE QUANTITY shifted out shortly after the start inconveniencing WHITEHAVEN. COLLABRO was hanging out badly in the closing stages and shifted out despite the rider's efforts, brushing GRADUATE near the 50-metre mark. In view of the performances of WHITEHAVEN, DRAGEDA and LINEKER (AUS) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. Vet: WHITEHAVEN and LINEKER - nothing obvious detected. DRAGEDA - not striding out left fore. BURRA BOY - mild post-race distress.
