THE STARTER REPORTED A) GLOBAL DRUMMER was slow into stride. B) FIND ME UNAFRAID was nervous in the stalls, slow away and lost 1 length. C) HERRIN was stubborn loading and slow into stride. D) TIGER IN THE SUN jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) Jockey L Mxothwa (LOOK FOR HOUNDS) dropped his right-side rein at the 50m, which he only regained after the finish. B) Jockey G Cheyne reported that TIGER IN THE SUN made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. C) Jockey A Domeyer signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck the horse SH BOOM more than 12 times in the entire race (thirteen (13) times). A penalty of a R1500 was imposed. D) The winner GLOBAL DRUMMER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Trainer G D Smith advised (LM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES A) TIGER IN THE SUN raced without blinker pacifiers (14:13 - 25/11/2020). THERE WERE NO RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED A) LOOK FOR HOUNDS abnormal respiratory noise. B) TIGER IN THE SUN nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS
