PEARL GLOW and FOREHAND were slow into stride. SORCERESS lost one length. GORGEOUS GUEST was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. At approximately the 1300 metre mark CHAMPENOIS shifted in resulting in PEARL GLOW having to be eased to avoid the heels of CHAMPENOIS and thereafter PEARL GLOW was switched out. This resulted in FOREHAND having to be steadied. Jockey Godden, the rider of CHAMPENOIS failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horses on his inside at approximately the 1300 metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 7 days (Suspension Dates: 06.01.2019 - 12.01.2019, bdi). Jockey Wright the rider of PHILAE and Jockey P v'd Merwe the rider of SORCERESS reported their respective mounts took no interest in running. Vet: PHILAE - nothing obvious detected. SORCERESS - coughing.
