DON'S ASSEMBLY was stubborn to load. Assistant Trainer Badenhorst advised to re-school this gelding. NASHVILLE and RED FUEL were both slow into stride. TRIPLE FATE LINE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Moodley the rider of SAUVAGE reported this gelding took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. DON'S ASSEMBLY was hanging in in the latter stages. Apprentice Ferraris the rider of NASHVILLE reported this gelding not striding out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. In view of the performance of RED FUEL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. BLACK DEVON returned post-race having cast the right fore shoe.
