BUNKER HUNT stumbled badly and dislodged the rider as the start was affected. Jockey Dillon was charged with a contravention in that he failed to weigh out at the carded weight on the horse PERPETUAL FLAME, which resulted in a change of rider. Shortly after the start BUNKER HUNT stumbled badly and dislodged the rider. SENATLA over-raced in the early stages. Between the 500m and 450m POTAWATOMI was carried in for a number of strides by the riderless BUNKER HUNT at the 300m. SAILING LIZARD was momentarily inconvenienced between the riderless BUNKER HUNT and POTAWATOMI. SAILING LIZARD dropped his right side rein at the 50m. TWIST OF FATE and SENATLA were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PERPETUAL FLAME - returned having cast the left fore shoe. BUNKER HUNT - fell leaving the stalls, no abnormalities were detected.
