RONNIE'S CANDY lifted its right front shoe en route to the start, which was attended to by the farrier, causing a delay to the start of this race. STORM DESTINY and VI VA PI PA jumped inwards leaving the stalls. PERFECT TIGRESS lost 1 length. An inquiry will be opened to establish why DAGMAR and PERFECT TIGRESS had to ease shortly before the finish line. An inquiry will be opened to establish why PERFECT TIGRESS and VISTULA were carried in in the concluding stages. In view of the performance from RETURN FLIGHT and RONNIE'S CANDY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. Jockey Habib struck the horse RUNNING BRAVE more than three times on consecutive strides. When assessing this penalty the Board took into account Jockey Habib's poor recent record with regard to this rule read with this guideline.
