The start of this race was delayed due to the Veterinary Surgeon examining PALACE ROSE and MYSTICAL SUMMER at the start. MYSTICAL SUMMER lost 6 lengths. TUULIKKI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LITTLE MISS ME (GB) was momentarily cramped on the inside of QUEEN'S PLAIN approaching the 1100 metre mark. MAJESTIC MARY was hanging in throughout. Jockey Dillon the rider of BRIDAL VEIL and Apprentice Sakayi the rider of BEQUIA reported their respective mounts took no interest in running. Jockey Zackey rider of SHEIK'S STORM reported that he felt something amiss with this filly in the closing stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine BRIDAL VEIL, BEQUIA and SHEIK'S STORM. In view of the performance of MYSTICAL SUMMER the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. In view of the Starter's report with regard to MYSTICAL SUMMER this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to load with a companion. Suspension dates: 09.01.19 to 15.01.19. MYSTICAL SUMMER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. PALACE ROSE and PINK CADILLAC raced equipped with ear muffs. Vet: SHEIK'S STORM - not striding out left fore. MYSTICAL SUMMER, BRIDAL VEIL and BEQUIA - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: PALACE ROSE - not striding out left fore.
