WARRIOR TIGER reared in the stalls. DOUBLE ALLIANCE which was restless in the stalls, was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter regarding WARRIOR TIGER, Trainer Botha was advised to have this gelding reschooled before its next engagement. In view of the performance from SENOR DON, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the colt on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Marcus, rider of IBRA reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. MISTER VARGUS raced green. DOUBLE ALLIANCE and GROUND CONTROL were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SENOR DON - examined post-race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. IBRA - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise.
