At the 1500m YOSMA had to check when close to the heels of VFORVICTORY and then shifted in sharply brushed the inside running rail and became unbalanced for a number of strides. At the 500m ORANGE BITTERS shifted out sharply and brushed VFORVICTORY outwards. At the 350m ORANGE BITTERS shifted in sharply away from VFORVICTORY. At the 300m WINTER SHADOW was cramped for galloping room and had to steady on the inside of MARAUDING which was carried in by RETRO EFFECT which rolled in. VFORVICTORY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: YOSMA - examined post-race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: PAGANINI - lame on the left fore.
