TORVILL, MONTREUX and BRAGGIE'S SUNSHINE were slow away and lost 1 length respectively. MARK MY WORDS was nervous in the stalls and was slow away. COZY CHESTNUT was nervous in the stalls, jumped awkwardly and dislodged Jockey Gould in the stalls. ZALIKA and DESERT WANDERER were nervous in the stalls. HURRICANE SASHA was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. Jockey Khathi failed to report to the Clerk of Scales at least 60 minutes before the official starting time of Race 2, in which he was engaged to ride AFRICAN DIAMOND. COZY CHESTNUT leaned back and turned his head in the stalls as the start was affected, this unbalanced Jockey Gould who was dislodged in the stalls. The start was reviewed regarding this incident in consultation with Jockey Gould and the starter. After reviewing the patrol film no further action was taken. In view of the Starter's report with regard to COZY CHESTNUT this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms. Suspension dates: 18.01.19 to 24.01.19. COZY CHESTNUT may not be presented for re-passing during this period. ZALIKA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TORVILL raced equipped with ear muffs. Vet: HURRICANE SASHA - kicked on right hind at the start. MARMALADE SKY - nothing obvious detected. OPINIONATED - coughed post-race. Scratched: POLLYMANIA - cut near fore. BEHOLDEN - lame left front. HURRICANE SASHA - kicked on right hind at the start.
