THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) ENGLISH PRINCESS (A Marcus) was hanging in from the 300m. b) GREAT DIVA (M Yeni) and ENGLISH PRINCESS (A Marcus) raced in close proximity in the concluding stages after ENGLISH PRINCESS (A Marcus) shifted in marginally approaching the 50m, and thereafter GREAT DIVA (M Yeni) shifted out marginally at the 50m. A race review was called into this incident, which was followed by an objection being lodged by the Jockey A Marcus on behalf of the second placed horse (ENGLISH PRINCESS) against the winner (GREAT DIVA) on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the concluding stages. After considering the evidence in this matter, and the above report, the Board overruled the objection and allowed the Judge's result to stand. Jockey A Marcus' deposit was refunded. c) Jockey A Marcus (ENGLISH PRINCESS) dropped his left side rein shortly before the finish which he regained shortly after the finish. d) GREAT DIVA (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
