THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LA FISTA FLYER (J Samuel) was hanging in from the 400m. b) CRIMSON CASTLE (A Arries) was hanging in from the 300m. c) Jockey K de Melo reported that AT YOUR REQUEST (3.50 lengths) did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with STARLIGHT (distance) in the straight and as a result did not persevere with his ride in the concluding stages.
