The start of this race was delayed due to the late scratching of QUINELIA. QUINELIA injured in stalls and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. DISTANT CALL, ESPRESSIVO and JOSIE were slow away and lost 1 length respectively. GREEN SEA was stubborn loading. Jockeys Storey, rider of LATESCENT and Yeni, rider of DUBAI QUEEN reported that their respective mounts were not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Hewitson, rider of SILVA KEY reported that he momentarily dropped his right-side rein at the 300m. Jockey Danielson reported that GREEN SEA was changing stride and this filly made an abnormal respiratory. In view of the performance of DISTANT CALL, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. BARGEME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LATESCENT raced without a tongue tie. Vet: BARGEME, JOSIE and SILVA KEY - post race distress. DISTANT CALL - nothing obvious detected. GREEN SEA - not striding out in front. QUINELIA - scratched, injury in stalls. DUBAI QUEEN - not striding out in front and post-race distress. Scratched: KIRINIA - retired. QUINELIA - injury in stalls.
