NO MORE WORDS was slow into stride. At approximately the 400m, SOUL OF WIT became unbalanced when bumped inwards by GENEROUS NOTION which shifted in when accidentally struck on the head by Apprentice Gates, rider of CLAIRVOYANCE. Apprentice Gate's crop was entangled in the mane of CLAIRVOYANCE which resulted in Apprentice Gates using a wide arm action to release his crop. The Board in the company of Jockeys van Rensburg and Zackey reviewed this incident, and was of the opinion that this was a racing incident and blame could not be apportioned to any individual and therefore took no further action. Jockey Habib the rider of KENTUCKY BLUE accidentally dropped his crop at the 400m. Leaving the 200m, PARENTAL CONTROL had to steady and switch in to avoid running onto the heels of AN AIR OF SUCCESS. GENEROUS NOTION was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GENEROUS NOTION raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. NINJARA raced with a tongue tie on.
