OCEAN HEIGHTS was restless in the stalls. Lost one length. GREENLIGHT GATSBY and GALINGA lost two lengths. MOKOKO and ALFONSA SPAGONI were restless in the stalls. ALFONSA SPAGONI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ONE OF OUR OWN was hanging in throughout. WINTER TWILIGHT was hanging in, shifted in near the 300-meter mark resulting in PHOENIX SUN being checked and MOKOKO being inconvenienced. Thereafter MOKOKO was carried in by WINTER TWILIGHT onto the heels of ONE OF OUR OWN near the 200-meter mark resulting in MOKOKO being eased and thereafter being baulked for a short distance. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward into the above incident which was followed by an Objection lodged by Trainer Lafferty on behalf of the fourth placed horse MOKOKO, against the second placed horse, WINTER TWILIGHT on the grounds of interference over the final 300 meters. After viewing the patrol video from the various angles and considering the evidence presented, the Board was of the opinion that but for the interference MOKOKO would have beaten WINTER TWILIGHT and therefore upheld the Objection. The Judge's result was amended and the deposit refunded. An Inquiry will be held into this incident. WINTER TWILIGHT raced unshod and this gelding raced with a tongue tie. HACKSAW RIDGE raced with steel shoes. Vet: WINTER TWILIGHT - speedy cut left hind.
