GINGER BISCUIT, BEL CANTO CHORUS and JAUNITA lost one length. BEL CANTO CHORUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. JAUNITA raced wide throughout. JAUNITA shifted out away from the crop, making contact and carrying GINGER BISCUIT outwards slightly. This resulted in MISSIBABA becoming cramped along the outside running rail, losing momentum shortly before the finish. Apprentice Jacobs the rider of JAUNITA appeared before the Board with regard to the above incident and was advised to take stronger measures to prevent his mounts from shifting ground in races in future. In view of the performances of PROSECCO, NOT NOW PUSSYCAT, IN FULL BLOOM and MAJESTIC MARY the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. Vet: PROSECCO and IN FULL BLOOM - blowing. NOT NOW PUSSYCAT - coughing. MAJESTIC MARY - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: FLEEK - elevated temperature. DUNZIE - not eating up.
