NENG KAPA NENG pulled its left front shoe en route to the start, which was attended to by the farrier. during the loading process the front gate of stall gate number 13 opened for no apparent reason, resulting in LOCK HIM UP breaking through and having to be restrained by the rider, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and being reloaded. PROFIT RATIO refused to load and was scratched by the starter. Thereafter STOP AND STARE reared in the stalls and was subsequently scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. these incidents caused a significant delay to the start of this race. During the loading process the front gate of LOCK HIM UP drawn in stall gate number 13, opened for no apparent reason, resulting in LOCK HIM UP breaking through, being restrained by the rider, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. PROFIT RATIO refused to load and was scratched by the Starter. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. STOP AND STARE reared in the stalls and was scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. ARTEMISIA, SNORTING BULL and ELECTROMAGNETIC lost 1 length. VISIGOTH stumbled shortly after the start. In view of the Starter's report with regard to PROFIT RATIO, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 8 March 2019 to 14 March 2019. PROFIT RATIO may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Munger reported that SNORTING BULL faltered at the 800m and thereafter did not stride out freely in running. ARTEMESIA was hanging in from the 200m. DIVINE CONNECTION was hanging out from the 200m. JACKMAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SNORTING BULL - examined post-race, nothing obvious detected. LOCK HIM UP- stirrup abrasion right side. Scratched: PROFIT RATIO - refused to load. STOP AND STARE - reared and injured its head in the stalls. Suitable for reinstatement.
