MISHEGOSS and WINGSOVERTHECLOUDS were slow into stride. TIBETAN ROUGE was nervous in the stalls. REYMUNDO reared at the off, was slow away and lost 3 lengths. In view of the Starter's report with regard to REYMUNDO this gelding's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and he was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable to jump on terms. Suspension dates: 09.03.19 to 15.03.19. REYMUNDO may not be presented for re-passing during this period. A race review was called into the start of this race regarding REYMUNDO drawn in stall gate 2. It was established that this gelding had become fractious in the starting stalls and had fly jumped as the start was affected. The Stipendiary Board was of the view that the loss of ground by this horse was as a consequence of its own behavior and therefore declared REYMUNDO to be a runner. REYMUNDO was rushed up to the field after a slow start and compounded in the straight. Jockey Mxothwa reported that SARK made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Leaving the 150m PECKING TYSON and MISHEGOSS came together and brushed. PECKING TYSON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
