TADA was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to race. Recommend reschool. BELLINGHAM BAY jumped outwards and made contact with FIRE WALKER. TEMP THE TIGER was slow into stride. A technical issue with the starting stalls and the examination of CORTADA caused a slight delay to the start of this race. In view of the report from the starter regarding CORTADA, Trainer Marshall was advised to have this gelding reschooled before his next engagement. Shortly after the start BELLINGHAM BAY had to steady off the heels of SINGFONICO which was carried in slightly by SHADOWING. Approaching the 100m, BELLINGHAM BOY and CORTADA were tightened for galloping room when JOHNNY BLACK rolled in. Shortly thereafter BELLINGHAM BAY was eased when awkwardly placed on the heels of TEMP THE TIGER was shifted out slightly in the latter stages. SINGFONICO and APOLLO ACE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CORTADA - examined at start declared fit to race. BELLINGHAM BAY - returned with an abnormal respiratory noise.
