The start of this race was delayed due to the late scratching of SAINT MICHAEL and LIVINGLAVIDALOCA. SAINT MICHAEL was unruly and got loose when arriving at the start, then bolted. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. HARTLEYFOUR and CLOUDLESS SKY lost 1 length. LIVINGLAVIDALOCA bolted on the way to the start and dislodged Jockey Habib. This colt was subsequently scratched by the Veterinary Surgeon. LIVINGLAVIDALOCA is suspended until such time as it proves tractable cantering to the start on a race day. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SAINT MICHAEL, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 10 March 2019 to 16 March 2019. SAINT MICHAEL may not be presented for re-passing during this period. TSITSIKAMMA BUSH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning JET JOHNSON, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horse racing Authority.
