THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CAIRON (S Khumalo) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1100m, MAJOR RETURN (*J Gates) had to ease to avoid running onto the heels of NORLAND (*C F Dicken) which shifted in. Apprentice C F Dicken signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that he, as the rider of NORLAND, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to MAJOR RETURN when he shifted in at the approximately 1100m. A suspension of seven (7) days was imposed. Suspension dates: 11.12.20 to the 17.12.20. b) ELIUD (W Kennedy) hung in from the 300m. c) THE EIGHTH LORD (P Strydom) hung in from the 200m. d) ELIUD (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
