SOLID GOLD fly-jumped leaving the stalls. SEA URCHIN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Approaching the 800-meter mark SOLID GOLD racing keenly and attempted to improve on the inside of GLASS CASTLE along the inside running rail. As a result, SOLID GOLD faltered which resulted in horse and rider becoming unbalanced. RONNIE ROCKET was hanging in, in the straight. SEA URCHIN was hanging in over the final 300 meters. Jockey Hewitson the rider of DUZI MOON reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running. In view of the performances of SAVEA and GLASS CASTLE the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. SO VAR raced with a Cornell collar. SOLID GOLD raced with ear muffs. Vet: DUZI MOON - not striding out left fore. SAVEA and GLASS CASTLE - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: LESLIE SHADOWLINER - not eating up.
