The start of this Race was delayed due to the late scratching of NOBLE JOSHUA at the start. The field was unloaded and time was taken to allow the betting public to re-structure their bets. NOBLE JOSHUA was restless in stalls. Repeatedly kicked the back gates and was injured. SOUTH PAW lost one length. VICTORIOUS MAN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. THE PRIVATE over-raced in the early and middle stages. SOVEREIGN SOLDIER was pulling hard in the early stages and was difficult to restrain and thereafter over-raced in the middle stages. GIMMIE A COHIBA was hanging in over the final 250 meters. In view of the Starter's report with regard to NOBLE JOSHUA, this gelding's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 30 days and until such time as he proves tractable with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 13.03.19 to the 11.04.19. NOBLE JOSHUA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. THE PRIVATE raced with ear muffs. Scratched: NOBLE JOSHUA - kicked the back gates repeatedly. Injured in the starting stalls and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon at 16h42 and the betting was 7/2.
