EVOLVER and SHEET WEAVER were slow away and lost 1 length respectively. FRIKKIE kicked the back gate in the stalls. FIRE IN THE BELLY was stubborn loading. In view of the performances of FIRE IN THE BELLY and GO DIRECT, the Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. PLANO was hanging in from the 400m. At approximately the 200m, GO DIRECT and MULTI GOLD were carried in by SHEET WEAVER which was hanging in in the straight, proving difficult to assist. MULTI GOLD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: FIRE IN THE BELLY and GO DIRECT - abnormal respiratory noise.
