SEA BEAN jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. At approximately the 200m ROSSLYN CHAPEL had to switch out to continue its run. Thereafter Jockey S Naidoo reported that ROSSLYN CHAPEL was not striding out freely in the running. MAHIR over raced in the early stages. At approximately the 250m Jockey Yeni, rider of GOLDEN SHAMROCK briefly dropped his right-side rein. Jockey Yeni appeared before the Board and was shown the patrol film of the race. His attention was also drawn to the frequency of which he has dropped his rein/s in the running over the last two months. Jockey Yeni was advised to take all reasonable measures to ensure that there was not a similar occurrence in future. ARANJUEZ was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MANGROVE and SEA BEAN - abnormal respiratory noise. MAHIR - abnormal respiratory noise and blood in mouth. ROSSLYN CHAPEL - nothing obvious detected. OASIS QUEEN - coughed post-race. Scratched: WISH TO LAND - injured off fore.
