The start of this race was delayed due to great achievement rearing in the stalls, having to be unloaded, examined by the veterinary surgeon, passed fit to race and re-loaded. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT was nervous in the stalls and reared. REASON TO SING was nervous in the stalls. MENDOCINO was slow away and lost 1 length. EDMONDA was stubborn loading and nervous in the stalls. In view of the Starter's report with regard to GREAT ACHIEVEMENT, this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable to jump on terms. Suspension dates: 22.03.19 to 28.03.19. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT may not be presented for re-passing during this period. BRANDINA was hanging in from the 400m. EDMONDA was hanging in in the concluding stages. Jockeys Mxothwa, rider of JUST AMAZING, Penny, rider of LAW AND ORDER, Domeyer, rider of MENDOCINO and Munger, rider of SCARBOROUGH FAIR reported that they felt something amiss with their respective mounts in the running. WORLD SQUARED was hanging in from the 300m. CAPTAIN ANNE BONNY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GREAT ACHIEVEMENT - blood in mouth. LAW AND ORDER, MENDOCINO and REASON TO SING - abnormal respiratory noise. SCARBOROUGH FAIR - not striding out in front. JUST AMAZING - nothing obvious detected.
