AUTUMN IN SEATTLE jumped awkwardly and lost 1 length. MY MAJESTIC GLORY (AUS) lost 1 length. DI MAZZIO (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SO VAR raced wide in the early stages. CAPTAIN VON TRAPP raced wide on the latter part of the bend and was hanging in, in the straight. Jockey Hewitson, the rider of MY MAJESTIC GLORY (AUS), reported that he felt something amiss with this colt in running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. In view of the performance of AUTUMN IN SEATTLE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. SO VAR raced fitted with a Cornell collar.
