KILDONAN PRINCESS was stubborn to load. IMPERIAL SEAL was squeezed out shortly after the start. MISTY HEATH fly jumped leaving the stalls. MISTY HEATH was for the taking of specimens for analysis. In view of the performance of WELL SAID, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey Moodley used his crop with excessive frequency in the straight. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. In determining the penalty, the Board considered Jockey Moodley's recent history with regard to contraventions of the Rules pertaining to the use of the crop.
