PIERINA and TEQUILA MARIA kicked the back gate in the stalls. ORLANDA was slow into stride. LACE rushed the front gates and was nervous in the stalls. TRULY SPECIAL was stubborn loading. FLAME UP and NEVERTHELESS were nervous in the stalls. ELISABETTA was nervous in the stalls and slow into stride. FLAME UP was hanging out between the 200m and 150m. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with SISTER LEE in the running. TRULY SPECIAL was hanging in from the 300m. Jockey Claassen appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol film of the race and was advised against the practice of using his crop down the shoulder of his mounts whilst in the drawn position. PIERINA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SISTER LEE - not striding out right fore. TRULY SPECIAL - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: BENEFICIARY - shin sore.
