THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE 30 MINUTE INTERVAL BETWEEN RACES. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WAY TO DREAM (*N Klink) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) WHITE SHADOW (*C F Dicken) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) WEDDING BLISS (C Zackey) hung in from the 300m. b) WAY TO DREAM (*N Klink) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. c) Jockey S Brown reported that he felt something amiss with LETAS MAGIC in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In view of the performance of LOVING THE VICTORY (M van Rensburg), (distance 14,75 lengths, betting 15/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) MAKING A SCENE (L Hewitson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
