The start of this Race was re-scheduled due to the all-clear being delayed as a consequence of the objection in the previous race. the re-scheduled start of this race was then delayed due to the withdrawal of EDMONDA, and GREAT ACHIEVEMENT, which was stubborn loading and unruly. EDMONDA was injured in the stalls and this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn. YODALICIOUS was slow into stride. PERFECTA was slow into stride. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT was stubborn loading, unruly and was slow into stride. This filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to EDMONDA, this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable to jump on terms. EDMONDA may not be presented for re-passing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to GREAT ACHIEVEMENT, this filly's starting stall certificate was withdrawn and she was suspended for a period of 30 days and until such time as he proves tractable to jump on terms. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Jockey Mxothwa reported that PERFECTA was not striding out freely in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Shortly after the start Jockey Yeni, rider of YODALICIOUS, became severely unbalanced when he lost his left side stirrup iron which he regained shortly thereafter. Shortly after the finishing line GREAT ACHIEVEMENT had to ease when awkwardly placed on the heels of YODALICIOUS. After the running of this race Jockey Agrella was stood down by the Course Medical Officer after injuring himself in the starting stalls. STEADY BREEZE and ALASKAN FATE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GREAT ACHIEVEMENT - blood in mouth. PERFECTA - not striding out right hind.
