CLASS OF EIGHT was restless in the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. ADONA lost one length. CORAZON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Roberts was questioned with regard to the improved performance of CORAZON compared to this filly's previous performance on the 24 March 2019. Mr Roberts explained that this filly raced keenly over the longer distance and as a result had compounded in the closing stages. Mr Roberts was of the opinion that CORAZON is better suited to sprint distances. He further advised the Board that he will race this filly over similar distances in future. CLASS OF EIGHT over-raced in the early stages. CLASS OF EIGHT was hanging out in the straight. In view of the performances of KIR and ADONA, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. ADONA raced with ear muffs. PROVOKING raced with steel shoes. Vet: KIR and ADONA - nothing obvious detected. JER - cut into left hind cannon. Scratched: STUNNING SEED - lame left fore. CHANEL ALLURE - bruised left fore.
