The start of this Race was delayed due to the lead pony of WAIT A SEC being delayed in its departure of the track and thereafter, WAIT A SEC proving stubborn to load. WAIT A SEC was stubborn loading. Trainer Smith was advised to re-school this filly prior to her next engagement. FASHION FORCE was nervous in the stalls and reared. COZY CHESTNUT was nervous in the stalls. Jockey Munger reported that he felt something amiss with SILKEN THREAD in the running. In view of the report regarding the lead pony and the delay to this race, Trainer Smith was advised to take all reasonable measures to ensure that a similar issue does not arise again in future. FAT LADY SING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: WAIT A SEC and SILKEN THREAD - post-race distress syndrome. EPISODE ONE and PASHTOOSH - abnormal respiratory noise.
