THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) NOBLE PRINCESS (M Yeni), GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) and SHEIK'S STORM (*K Strydom) lost 1 length.
b) CALL ME TONIGHT (S Moodley) lost 3 lengths.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) NOT NOW PUSSYCAT (A Marcus) was hanging in throughout.
b) HOT MONEY (D Dillon) over-raced in the early stages.
c) Shortly after the start, GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede) improved into a tight gap between NOBLE PRINCESS (M Yeni) and HOT MONEY (D Dillon) and was eased.
d) Shortly before entering the straight, GINGERSPATHTOGLORY (*T Gumede), which was hanging in from the 1100m, was inconvenienced and unbalanced on the outside of NOBLE PRINCESS (M Yeni) which shifted out and was then corrected. Jockey M Yeni (NOBLE PRINCESS) appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take more care to ensure that he does not cause interference when shifting ground in races in future.
e) DARK MISTRESS (*J Gates) raced to the front from a wide draw and compounded in the concluding stages. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f) In view of the performance of TAC IT TWICE (C Habib) (10.30 lengths, 11/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer W G C Miller was advised to report back to the Stipendiary Board should he find anything amiss with this filly on return to stables.
g) In view of the performance of NOT NOW PUSSYCAT (A Marcus) (9.20 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
h) MISS CHARLOTTE (*L J Ferraris), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G B Puller advised (TN).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a) ASTUTE VISION raced without blinkers (advised 07.12.2020/08h22).
b) NOT NOW PUSSYCAT was ridden by Jockey A Marcus (advised 07.12.20/08h01).
c) GINGERSPATHTOGLORY Apprentice T Gumede claimed 2kg of his 2.5kg apprentice allowance and weighed out at 50.5kg.
