RIVER RHONE jumped outwards and carried MUMTAZ outwards. ICON PRINCESS and WINGS OF HONOR reared in the stalls. Jockey de Melo, rider of RIVER RHONE, reported that his filly did not stride out freely in running. Assistant Trainer Lilley was requested to report back to the Board on the filly's condition on her return to the stables. In view of the performance from STEFFI'S GRAFT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. CAPACITY CROWD raced wide with no cover on the bend. At the 150m WINTER FIVE was awkwardly placed on the outside of REBELS SPIRIT, which was hanging out. Thereafter WINTER FIVE rolled in and had to steady when close to the heels of REBELS SPIRIT shortly before the finish. WHAT A RED was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: RIVER RHONE - examined at the start and declared fit to race. RIVER RHONE - examined post-race and no significant findings were detected. STEFFI'S GRAFT - examined post race and no significant findings were detected.
