THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Trainer A Rivalland (GALWAY) will be advised that his runner failed to adequately parade and that should this gelding behave similarly in future, it may be suspended. b) MASTER OF DESTINY (S Veale), CAPTAIN ELLIODOR (K de Melo) and PUTCHINI (*J Gates) over-raced in the early and middle stages. c) BANJO ON MY KNEE (C Habib) was hanging in from the 200m. d) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with CAPTAIN ELLIODOR (25.30 lengths) in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning CAPTAIN ELLIODOR (K de Melo), and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Assistant Trainer N Roscoe acting on behalf of Trainer D Kannemeyer was advised. (Suspension Dates : 08.12.20 - 05.02.21, bdi). f) GALWAY (S Randolph), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
