WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL rushed the front gates. Removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was withdrawn. CONSTANTINE lost two lengths. TRIPPI'S EXPRESS lost one length. CUMULUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Approaching the 100 m CUMULUS shifted out when shown the crop and was straightened by the rider. This resulted in TRIPPI'S EXPRESS being carried outwards slightly. A race review was called by Jockey Orffer, the rider of TRIPPI'S EXPRESS, with regard to the above incident. After viewing the patrol video from the various angles, no further action was taken. In view of the performance of REACTIVE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. CAPTAIN VON TRAPP returned post-race having cast the right fore shoe. CONSTANTINE raced without cheek pieces. Vet: REACTIVE - nothing obvious detected. GOLDEN PHEASANT - epistaxis (2nd occurrence) 120 days suspension. Scratched: WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL - injured head in the starting stalls.
