THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TOMMY TIGER (C Bantam) was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer S M Naidoo advised (PHvdW). b) JOE HARMAN (M van Rensburg) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 250m, EURO CENT (W Kennedy) had to steady momentarily and switched out when tightened for galloping room on the inside of MYNAGE (*J R Syster) which was hanging in from the 400m. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TOMMY TIGER, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 09.12.20 to the 15.12.20 TOMMY TIGER may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S M Naidoo advised. c) STONE COLD (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Dawson advised (AH). When questioned regarding the improved performance of STONE COLD, Trainer C Dawson advised that in this gelding's run on 5 November 2020, he had over raced which she had attributed to a tongue tie being fitted for the first time. She further added that this poor performance may have been due to the soft underfoot conditions and that this gelding was returning from a long break. Trainer C Dawson's explanation was noted. d) MYNAGE (*J R Syster), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Stable Employee M Makhubalo advised (LK).
