FLAMING DESIRE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Naidoo was questioned regarding the improved performance of FLAMING DESIRE, compared to his previous performance on the 10th April 2019. Mr Naidoo explained to the Board that this filly had soundness issues in the past and he was of the view that the 2000 meters of her previous run was beyond this filly. In that run she was dropped out from a wide draw and had not taken an interest in the running. He advised the Board that he would run this filly over similar distances in future. Mr Naidoo's attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to "in and out" running and this filly's previous run will be reviewed by the Stipendiary Board. UNILATERAL raced to the front and raced without cover and compounded late. In view of the performance of AFRICAN DYNASTY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. ROSE OF PERU raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: AFRICAN DYNASTY - nothing obvious detected.
